After a two hour evening flight, fifteen piece IDMC Gospel choir landed at Marco Polo airport in Venice. Assuming to be picked up by a couple of representatives from New Generation gospel choir…however this was not the case! This four-day excursion began with John and MD and second son Dayna traveling to Munich. Met by our German cousin and John’s namesake Svenja Fischer, the beautiful day was spent in town, where a great meal was enjoyed, and talks about the weekends program (which was looking great) took place. Day 2 saw the crazy gang (yes IDMC lol) join John and Dayna in Munich to get the party started! Upon arrival there was a lovely fellowship meal together with the members of Gospel

Saturday morning 7th April and the IDMC crew are all packed and ready to move. We had a productive preparation period, and feel ready to be a blessing. Going to church on Good Friday was such an inspiration, and John had the privilege to lead worship, and received a powerful word which was great preparation for the concerts ahead.   The tour team are all part of the senior IDMC crew, and so will create a great musical backdrop to the Easter season. February 26th 2012 saw IDMC mark it's 18th Anniversary, and now John is preparing to take the group out on the road, around the country for a series of concerts, workshops and live praise session in churches, festivals and concert halls throughout the UK and Europe With a new line up of singers who have been together for just over 18 months, they have worked hard to build the IDMC sound that John has worked to develop for the past 18 years. Thursday 8th March saw IDMC begin it's 18th Anniversary campaign, by opening for the fantastic U.S. Soulful gospel artist Avery Sunshine, at the Union Chapel, Islington, London. A lot of preparation went into IDMC delivering a memorable performance to start its year with a big bang. Playing to a very lively and warm audience, the choir opened with an accapella re-arrangement by John of the Andre Crouch Classic, "No HATRED IN CHRIST", which instantly set the mood of the choirs set,"QUALITY VOCALS". John and IDMC will be headlining the performances at the annual switching on of the Christmas lights in Motcombe Street Belgravia, just down the road from Knightsbridge. This will be the second year IDMC have supported this event which always promises to be lots of fun. The event starts at 6:00pm with a Jazz band, Household Cavalry and IDMC taking the stage at 7:30pm,  with Celebrity Christopher Biggins switching on the lights, so don't be late..let's hope the weather holds.
